Pulse Drive, Marine Trimmable Surface Drives, Utilizing Surface Piercing Propellers, Designed by Harry SchoellPulse-Drive Systems International, LLP was founded in the late 1980's but the concept dated much earlier by the inventor, Harry L. Schoell.  Many years of trial and error, hard work and sweat went into the formulation of today's simple yet effective "trimmable surface drive" unit. The unique expertise of Harry Schoell is known industry wide. One and all come to him  for his knowledge and recommendations.

Pulse Drive Systems propulsion drives bolts on a boat like a traditional sterndrive, but the whole stern area, swim platform and all, trims up and down, making the boat run more efficiently, with a shallower draft.

Why Pulse-Drive?
Pulse-Drive trimmable surface drives increase boat speed, efficiency and reliability and have been used successfully on hundreds of boats including: Fountain power boats, Wellcraft, Infinity, Predator, Midnight Express, Marlin Boats, Active Thunder, Novurania, Rinalli, Crompton Inflatables and countless others.

Pulse-Drive trimmable surface drives are low-maintenance, durable and attractive. We offer drives for single, dual and triple engine applications, and are available with ratings from 120 to 1,600 hp.

Utilizing surface piercing propellers, Pulse-Drives have been replacing stern drives on Fishing Boats, a wide variety of rigid inflatables, Ferry Boats, Go Fast Boats, Catamarans, Deep V, Step Hulls, Center Console, Military Boats, Parasailing Boats, House Boats, Dive Boats, Coast Guard vessels, and race boats. Unlike Arneson, SDS, Simplicity, and Tri Max Drives.  For years Pulse-Drives have been used by Marine Power, Rotary Power and Mercury gas engines while Cummings Diesel, Caterpillar Diesel, Detroit Diesel, Styer, Yanmar have also used Pulse-Drives marine propulsion system. Single, dual and triple engine applications are available with horsepower ratings ranging from 120 to 1600 HP. All engine packages match with transmissions including ZF and Twin Disc.

Pulse-Drives reverse well in both directions and require little or no maintenance. Easy installation on for re-power projects. No alignment is necessary and no X dimension is required for installation.
